Tut 7: Map Tile Services - Window Greyed out at step C5

My first post. Fell at the first hurdle!

Working through Tut 7. Managed to place the polyline route and save it but when I came to reactivate the Map Tile Server dialogue; it appears with all options greyed out. Not even the close X works. Displays the busy symbol.

Did I miss something at the Simple Route Editor stage? For instance - I haven't a clue how to Deactivate the Simple Route Editor.

The only thing I can do is close the entire app.

Spotted my oversight.

Clicking the Simple Route Editor icon deactivates it.
