Hello.
I have just started with TransDEM. Completed with test map Muengsten as written in Manual (Part 1) and imported into TS2009. The map appeared in the list without letter c. When I try to access it, it says:
Map is missing or damaged
Your selected route is damaged or has missing files.
I completed Part 2 and 3 which are said optional, then deleted map and imported again (in fact several times), but nothing has changed. What is wrong?
Sorry, I did not find answers in the manual or on forum.
Map is missing or damaged
Re: Map is missing or damaged
Did you enter your Auran User ID into the respective field in the "Basic Files, DEM and Ground Textures" export dialog?Ariadna63 wrote:... and imported into TS2009. The map appeared in the list without letter c.
Did you explicitly set "TS2009" as the Trainz version in the export dialog?Ariadna63 wrote:Map is missing or damaged

Re: Map is missing or damaged
I certainly did, would it let me go further without this?Did you enter your Auran User ID into the respective field in the "Basic Files, DEM and Ground Textures" export dialog?
YesDid you explicitly set "TS2009" as the Trainz version in the export dialog?
Re: Map is missing or damaged
Where I can see what files are missing?
Re: Map is missing or damaged
Which version of Windows are you running and where did you install TS2009?
What are your user rights when working with TransDEM and TS2009?
Have a look at the route folder crated by TransDEM in Windows Explorer. What are the files therein? What is the file size of the .gnd file? Is this the very folder you are actually importing into Trainz with Content Manager?
Does Content Manager report the route as complete without missing dependencies? Does it show the correct KUID for the route?
Is this the only route so far you have created with TransDEM and imported into Trainz, or did you import variants or the route more than once?
Did you import the TransDEM ground textures? Do they show up OK in both Trainz Content Manager and Trainz Surveyor?

Re: Map is missing or damaged
hm, I found solution and also found something strange.
I have TS2009 and discovered that testures from cdp-3 were not seen in the Surveyor. Then I imported textures from cdp-2 and they worked. So in TransDem I set TS2006/7 for output and then I got the map in the Surveyor.
So it works at least this way.
Thank you for help.

Re: Map is missing or damaged
Did you install the latest TS2009 service pack?
TS2009 is the only Trainz version which saw file format changes after being released. This would explain, why a TRS2006 route can be read, but the one for TS2009 cannot. Trainz always had a feature of backward read compatibility. TransDEM produces TS2009 route format for one of the later service packs.
