Convert .ntf to .dem?

Hi folk.
Ive just purchased TransDem and am wondering how I convert the OS .ntf files to .dem?

For the record:
OS Land-form Panorama height data comes in two flavours. In proprietary NTF format and in a text format called ESRI grid, file type .asc. TransDEM can read the .asc format.
