Since migrating from TANE to TRS19, I am running into an issue in which the TransDEM raster map textures now have height and are "burying" objects and splines that I place on them (e.g. if I lay track on the TransDEM-textured baseboard, the ballast and sleepers will be underneath the textures and I will only see the rails). If I paint over the TransDEM textures with something else, this added height recedes and the objects/splines are revealed in full.
Is there a known solution or workaround to this issue?
edit: Apparently this is a side effect of PBR textures, and I have been informed of a workaround in which the Shader Quality setting is reduced from "Ultra" to "Basic" which seems to have solved the issue for now
Objects and Splines "sink" into TransDEM map textures (TRS19)

Have you tried using the classic flat textures instead? Uninstall the PBR ones and install the previous version. But I'm not sure whether this will work, some of the older versions have tiny issues with the embedded meta data.
