Good evening all

for my trainz map i have download mnt lambert93 grid 5 meter on IGN
the result in trainz is very better than before

the tile server no problem but poor quality in trainz

so i am looking for wms on IGN server to have better quality for mapping and tiles
i can obtain directly imaging 5meter scale 1:187 on IGN server
i try use wms on IGN server
i obtain trf file ok but png file is corrupted (blank or black)
i think parameter of GetMap is not correct for IGN server but i dont see how modify parameter
lIGN send jpg2000 can transdem read jpg2000?

i need help and infos

Which address are you using for IGN WMS? Those listed in the IGN doc produce an error for me.

Di you really need IGN maps or orthoimagery? Wouldn't OSM map tiles do? Or Bing orthoimages?

i have the find parameter for wms on ign server
image quality x4 better than tile server

i can see number of track and junction on the map
its a long process but good result

now the new question is how import the vector layer ?
on ign i have railway layer road layer and hydrographic layer in open source

What WMS settings do you use for IGN?

Vector data WMS is not supported by TransDEM, only raster data.

good morning i use RGF93 as wms raster
i made 3 raster
large scale low resolution
medium scale medium resolution
low scale high resolution
in 2048x2048
so to trace route i have a HD def to wiew for position track and junction
and i can identify edifices
for exemple for the town "ambert" i have a suite of scenery house ambert livradois forez
with hd wms i can put the good house at the right place

import layer containing road railway and river will be a must for transdem
do you think implementation import railway layer in route ?

Can you post your WMS xml settings?

As I said, I only get an error message using the URL from the IGN WMS documenatation

the word CLEF in url must be changed by keyword open source service you want
the list of public keyword open source is in a csv file on ign web support

Does this mean I have to register for obtaining a key or something?

For posting screenshots you have to upload your image to some external image server and post the link. The forum itself does not support image upload.

For your WMS settings you can also export to xml from TransDEM and post the xml here as "code" (unless the key is private).

no the key of service is public key no register need it is open source

they are a key for each service exemple for ortho image the key to replace "CLEF" is "ortho"
so you need config a wms server for each service you want

i have made group france and after i add new server and edit for each service
each service have different capability

the list of key in in file csv on web page service geoservice

for very high definition you need register
for ultra high definition it is payware

but it is not necessery use vhd ou uhd for trainz the HD is perfect for me

i dont know the path where is the xml of my parameter when i made a add and edit new server wms
i dont have image server

i use discord with my friend i can copy past image
