Historic UK 25 Inch Map - Problem April 2021

For several weeks I have been progressing work on a DEM of Yorkshire in NE England and using the 25 inch maps from the Historic UK 25 inch Map Tile Server. However, since Thursday April 29th 2021 I can no longer access the 25 inch maps. At first they were only visible at zoom level 9 but from Friday all I get is grey. I switch to the Historic UK 6 inch and can get the maps, so I have not made a mistake with the georeferencing, but then switching back to Historic UK 25 Inch, grey, no map. Trying other counties produces the same results.

What I do not know is whether there is a problem at the NLS/ Historic UK 25 Inch end or a problem at my end with Transdem. The only change I made was updating to 2.6.5.0 on April 8th but this issue started 3 weeks later.

Not a problem on your side. I just ran an https traffic analysis. NLS has moved the data to a different server. The 25 inch maps are now hosted in the Amazon Cloud. I will update the settings and report them here, but that will take a day or two.

If you don't want to wait you can do it yourself: Map Tile Settings | Tile Type Edit | URL part 1 - static.
Note that it has to be updated and verified for every county.
