Invalid URLs for US WMS servers?

I am having some trouble getting detailed maps for page 136 in Tutorial 4. Apparently the US Government has been playing with their server details again. This is the URL for USGS National Atlas: http://webservices.nationalatlas.gov/wms - however it produces "The specified URL cannot be found." This is the URL for USGS National Map: http://raster.nationalmap.gov/arcgis/se ... /WMSServer: - this produces a blank error box with "No Error". Can anyone provide current URLs?

It appears the "digital raster graphics" WMS aka 1:24k topo has been retired. You can try an ESRI map tile service instead:

This server is also included in the latest settings download on my webpage.

The next version of the TransDEM manual will reflect that change.
