Tutorials in TransDem

Will the tutorials in Trans Dem still work if your using the new release of Trainz CE V1.1? Some of the pull down menus in the program ask for your version and the new Trainz is not listed. Should I wate till the final version of Trainz is released before I start this project?

The current version of TransDEM generates specific route file formats for TRS2004 to TS12. T:ANE will bring more file format changes which TransDEM does not yet understand. However, Trainz Surveyor has a long tradition of being able to read older route file formats. This also applies to T:ANE CE Surveyor. Therefore, T:ANE CE should be able to import a TS12 route, as created by TransDEM. Full T:ANE compatibility is planned for the next version of TransDEM but I won't start the work in earnest until T:ANE is reasonably stable.

Thanks for your reply, so I guess I will wait till everything works for T:ane before I start this route.
