Help Menu does not bring up the PDF transdem manual

When I click on the Help button I get the following message: C\Program Files(86)\Ziegler-Tools\Dokumenation\TransDem_eng.pdf not found And yet it appears in that folder when I use my Microsoft Windows Explorer program to find it. Did this problem occur because of improper program loading. I have been using TransDEM for a while with great success and I can access the Manual manually but would like it under the Help menu button.

Strange indeed. The path for this pdf in a TransDEM default installation on a 64bit machine is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ziegler-Tools\Dokumentation\TransDEM_engl.pdf

TranzDEM.exe itself will be installed in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ziegler-Tools

The "Help" command in TransDEM invokes the Windows command shell to launch
Dokumentation\TransDEM_engl.pdf
(English version).
This is a relative path.

The combined path you quote seems correct (leaving spelling errors aside).

Are there any other indicators TransDEM is not working normally?

Thanks for your prompt reply, Geophil. No the pdf file is in the proper folder and using windows explorer I can open the manual. It would be nice to open it from the TransDEM Help button. Maybe I should reinstall the TransDEM program again?

I wouldn't expect much from that but you could try. Before reinstalling TransDEM, I suggest to explicitly uninstall it first.
