I am trying to add a route file to an existing Trainz map.
The trainz map in question is generated in Transdem
According to the TransDEM Trainz Edition documentation concerning Export
Destination (page 45) Note 2: "TRS 2006 and higher routes can only be accessed
if set open for editing in CMP or still outside CMP"

I open for edit the appropriate map in content manager, and In Transdem I open
the dem and raster files and route file for the map then start the process-
create track splines- to add them to the map.
I then get the usual message about the route file being changed. click ok to
continue, but then get an inconsistent file name message which leaves the
export destination map name blank. (I have checked the export file directory
in option global parameters).

What am I doing wrong .

Nothing.

Since TANE SP2 we have new route file formats and TransDEM until now understands only parts of them. So, unfortunately, re-import - and this is what you need here - does not work for the latest Trainz versions.

So I reinstall SP1 and hopefully all goes well.
