Ok i have to wait for the new version to come out. Now i have this error

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> in wms usgs topo base map below 18k dynamic

The former USGS WMS has been retired. There is a Map Tiles alternative, with largely the same data base, see here.
