Unable to erase rulers in a TransDEM Trainz map

Hello. I am using TS12 with SP1 and HF3 and TransDEM 2.4.1.0. In Trainz surveyor I have found that I am unable to delete or move a ruler placed on a TransDEM created map unless I use the undo function. I have also found this with a route that I have been working on before TransDEM and to which I have merged a TransDEM map. Any ruler that I had left on the pre-merge map could be moved or deleted but not any rulers placed after the merge. There is no problem with anything else. Am I missing something simple here?

Jack

I noticed the same phenomenon the other day. What works for me is to move the compass onto the ruler first (right click), i.e. reposition the "look-at" point, then try the ruler edit or ruler delete command (left click).

I am not sure what causes this. SP1 introduced a new separate file for rulers and there must have been a reason for that but I don't know about it.

A simple solution. Thanks very much. I clicked all over the map before but didn't put the compass on the end of the ruler.

Cheers,
