Hi Phil,

A TIF that I just got from the above source will not load in TDem.
The complaint is it cannot handle 32 bit samples......

Knowing me, I have not done something correctly !!

Are you opening this .tif as a DEM or as a raster map - and which one is it supposed to be?

Only as a raster map.
I thought I downloaded a GeoTiff.......

You will usually get this error when you try to open an NED DEM as a raster map. GeoTIFF is legal for both, however, the NED DEM will have a single "colour" band with 32 bit samples which won't make much sense as a raster image.
