Hi, i have a problem when i am trying to convert elevations.

I am selecting an area, right click on it, view min&max elevations, then i click on Raise/Lower button and enter the new values. The problem is that only the minimum value changes, the maximum values stays the same...what am i doing wrong?

The Raise/Lower function performs a linear transformation of elevations, controlled by two values each for source (old) and destination (new).

Assume your elevations range from 100 to 400 m and you want to transform into a range from 200 to 500 m, you could enter 100 and 400 on the left side and then 200 and 500 on the right side. Also select "Apply to all elevations".

You can also raise or lower elevations with DEM control points and triangular networks (TIN). Using a TIN would yield smooth transitions.
