Ive just done a further test by using a different folder to save the files to instead of the recommended one, (ie "F:\TS12\userdata\My routes" instead of "F:\TS12\userdata\editing"). This did not bring up the errors - which is probably why I did not see the errors on the test I did yesterday. Having gone into Trainz I noted that I have 2 versions of Muengsten there. Both show the ground texture but one does not show the additional close in map that you added as part of the tutorial. The second has all parts present - this is the one I assume was created with the different save directories.

Yes, it all makes sense.

The UTM tile export dialog is opened after some preprocessing. At this stage, the destination folder can no longer be changed. But you can cancel the dialog and go to to the global settings and select the destination folder there.
