My old web server crashed in early January, We are now on a new server. The forum is back and running again, hereby being migrated to the latest version of the forum software.
Unfortunately, the latest forum backups from the old server turned out to be corrupt. So I had to restart from a somewhat older backup, early October. Therefore, I'm afraid, we miss several weeks of activity in this new forum incarnation. If you posted in previous weeks, these posts are lost. If you registered during that period, you have to register anew.
User registration includes anti-spam measures again. (Those spam-bots are a real nuisance.) I have given up on questions & answers here. These days, with ChatGPT and other AI tools around, that didn't stop the bots any longer. So, we do Captchas now and I also included the StopForumSpam database. I hope it helps.
