There was originally a site called "Waat Was Daar" but that disappeared, however this one has popped up. http://www.topotijdreis.nl/ Covers a 200 year timespan, the 1950's/1960's era most useful for picking out the narrow gauge dune railways and the vicinial(sp) tram lines. Probably not in a format that could be directly imported to Transdem but can be used to make clippings or read in connection with OSM, etc. |

Behind this is a quadtree map tile service which at first glance looks quite familiar, but the parameters appear to be rather different from the standard Mercator, normally used in these services (including ESRI). I might be able to find it out. But it would require four or five more variables to be configurable and be implemented in my algorithms. Some of the maps have 1000 m grid lines, probably the Dutch Rijksdriehoeksnet (RD) coordinate system. |
