| Post subject: | route textures suddenly do not show up. |
for the past week or so, i've been creating terrain routes in trainz. i put them on my google drive as my laptop doesn't have the storage for the huge files. the idea is that you can download it back any time. usually it works fine, up until yesterday. i went to redownload one of my previous routes, i load it into the game to find the textures completely missing. i then exported another route, and the same happens. i have the settings correct, same as always; map tiles for textures on, and the custom texture mapping. i check the configs of the route and they only list the region dependency, even the same route i hade made when it was working just fine. what's happening? |

We are talking ground textures here? Or UTM tiles? There are similarities with both types, they are Trainz assets and are referenced by their KUID. Textures and UTM tiles must have been imported into Trainz by Trainz Content Manager. If they cannot be found in the Trainz content database, the texture KUIDs in the .gnd filed and the UTM tile KUIDs in the .obs files link to Nirvana. |
