Yeah, smooth would be a bit better as some of the mountains did look too sharp around the edges of the contour lines and fake. Cliffs aren't much of a concern as I can make those as splines on the final route. The elevation on the Edwards map I've been working to make the DEM with isn't too detailed, I might talk to a friend about making a newer one perhaps. This DEM was meant to be a base for anyone to make a Sodor route on, though I might tinker around with it a bit more before the final save. Some places could use a few more adjustments, especially round the Culdee Fell area. There is supposed to be a gap here for a viaduct but... too big, and I don't know what elevation to put it at lol |
