I may have goofed. Big time.

Apparently Morrowind did not teach me enough about the RPG concept of 'Save Often'.

I just did a reasonably long stretch of track using the Simple Route Editor tools. Fool that I am, I did not save it before closing the raster maps loaded - and with no DEM loaded, the route was also closed. Without being saved. Without a prompt about it being closed without being saved, either.

Is it possible that a future version might include some kind of prompt warning that an unsaved route is being closed, much like the prompts warning that an unsaved DEM or raster map is being closed? This would probably prevent goofs such as the above. Now I get to go back over that 26km section again.

I'm sure that can be done. I wasn't aware that there is still some loophole.

I know I would be thrilled that could be done :) I procrastinated on redoing that section by tidying up my junctions in the yards, but I guess today I should fix it back up again.
