I have created a route using TransDem, I have imported this route into TANE. At this point the route consists of Rail routes and ground textures only ( this is because the the projected end result will eventually be up to fifteen times as big and the current area modeled covers approx 800 square miles + over 100 miles of track).
However when I open the route in TANE it shows approx 1900 unknown assets, these all have a KUID of the following format - KUID2:0:xxxxx:1.
I can edit these out with no difficulty, but they continually return when I save my route (which given the current state of TANE has to happen frequently to avoid losing work)
Is this a problem associated with TransDem's Ground textures and is there any way I can solve it without replacing all of the ground textures on the map (This will eventually happen, but given the size of the map it will be a herculean task) (Also I have the prospect of at least another fifteen maps in the total project).
I have checked that the relevant texture files are installed, but they are installed in a separate folder
(TransDEM/Ziegler-Tools/TransDEM-Ground-Textures/TransDEM Ground Textures Orthoimagery 128 V2) and
(TransDEM/Ziegler-Tools/TransDEM-Ground-Textures/TransDEM Ground Textures V5)
This folder is on a Drive containing all of my TransDEM, Trainz and TANE installations, My Userdata folder is on my "C" Drive.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Keith

Did you register your Auran/N3V User ID in TransDEM? TransDEM will use this User ID to create KUIDs for all TransDEM-generated assets.
TransDEM main menu, Options | Settings | Trainz Global Export Parameters | KUID

Thanks Roland
I assume I will have to suffer with the existing routes and that any future routes will have the problem solved
