Having just updated to Trainz 2.5 I tried to use 3d tiles. Followed the
Tutorial 1: Using the TransDEM Trainz Exporters and imported to Trainz 12.
Got the same image as shown under Paragraph 5 and 6. :D
But cannot see 3D tiles, paragraph 7. :(
What do I need to do to see 3D tiles.
Followed all instructions in tutorial with no errors.

G'day ganmar,

...are you saying, Lorraine, that you do not have the option (Radio Button) to select for the "3D tile" option in the "UTM Tile Option" panel, as shown in the images for steps 6 and 8 (or is the issue something else)?...

...although I have not yet used this facility in TransDEM 2.5.1.0, I do notice that Roland is quite specific about the need for the Trainz Mesh XML Importer to be installed and for TransDEM to be told of it's location. Without that program installed, TransDEM will be unable to create 3D Tiles and if I were writing this program, I would certainly make it impossible for the user to select for this 'option', if the location of the Importer is unknown. Have you followed those instructions?...

I have followed the instructions from Trainzdem.
Part 1, completed.
Part 2 where I clicked the 3d button as mentioned in paragraph 6, I have the Meshimporter installed and TransDem recognized the destination file.
Part 3 completed.
Part 4 Imported the content.
Opened Trainz and saw the same image as in the tutorial Paragraph 4 and 5.
Paragraph 7. We will now look for the UTM tiles.
How?
The part that I cannot see is how we then look at the 3D tiles.
I hope this explains my problem

Lorraine,

in part 4 of the tutorial, did you import the UTM tiles (step 5) and could you see them (step 6)?

Geophil,
I did import the UTM files, and I saw my Dem map.
After looking around my computer I found that my security was blocking meshimporte. I allowed it and tried again and got the message
Unsupported file type for 'meshgencleanup.log'
I am now going to clear all the files and re install everything again and see what happens. I know I am probably missing something obvious.
But as they say "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again".

Have re-installed program and got this when importing to Trainz.
Message: Scanning "E:\Trainz custom content folder\scenery" for content...
Warning: Unsupported file type for 'E:\Trainz custom content folder\scenery/meshgencleanup.log'
Message: Will install asset at "E:\Trainz custom content folder\scenery/UTM-32U-371-5669"

.
Source Folder for 3UTM TrainzMesh XLM Importer is
C:\Program Files (x86)\N3V Games\Mesh Importer\TrainzImporter_111019.
Do I need to do something in the command prompt?
Cannot see what I am missing. :( :(
