G'day All,

Inexperienced user here. I am having a problem attempting to export UTM files for a route I am creating.
It is a rather large route and the error I am getting is:-

No idea what I am doing wrong or if it is even possible. Any help appreciated.

Cheers

John

G'day All,

Ok, I found my mistake. I was trying to encompass the whole route. Managed it by just selecting the parts that really matter.

Cheers

John

G'day All,

Okay, I managed to create the UTM files. How do I get the route to use them?

Thanks

John

G'day hedleogh,

John, on a technicality, the route does not use them. They are provided for your use, as an alternative visual source, to make it easier to create the route. However, there are two techniques to using them so that they can function in this manner. The first of these is to raise and lower them, using the standard Surveyor Object Raise/Lower methods so that they appear and disappear across the terrain, in a manner that allows you to cover/uncover the aspect of the route building that is the focus of the work session, or to use the [F9] function to set the wireframe mode in Surveyor so that all the UTM maps are visible. Toward this end, I would suggest that you download and install the *.cdp file recommended in this thread to make the task of seeing them easier...
