The current snapgrid setting in the UTM tile config file is 40m. I want to change it to 10m for more precise placement. I couldn't find a setting in the program and changing the setting in the config file in the UTM03 folder didn't affect the 40m default in subsequent UTM tile creations.
Is there a place to change this setting to default to 10m? Changing the UTM tile config files manually is quite laborious.

Thanks

It is 40m for a good reason. TransDEM has a static mapping between its native UTM grid and the Trainz baseboard grid. TransDEM generated UTM tiles adhere to the UTM grid. (Their file names are UTM coordinates.) Since the UTM grid is 1000m and the Trainz baseboard raster is 720m, their greatest common divisor is the said 40m.
