I've done this before but I don't know what the problem is. I'm using the georeferencing feature. Place and save placemark in Google Earth. Save image. I try to follow carefully making sure north orientation and reset tilt (r). When importing in TransDem I get an error with the kmz file: "incompatible place mark "heading" or "tilt" click [reset north] and [reset tilt] in Google Earth before exporting image and placemark."

I've done this before without any problem. I've gone back numerous times to make sure the north and tilt are correct but to no effect. I've updated to the latest version of TransDem as well.

Press [N] (north) and [U] (up) in Google Earth to reset bearing and tilt. That should do the trick.

Ok I erased everything and started over instead of resaving on the same files. Now works.
