What do you mean by "floating"? Could this be a 2D UTM tile hovering above the ground?

Yes it could be as it is flat. I am hoping I can get rid of it in Trainz12 as I have laid out some of the routes.

You can raise an lower the tile in Surveyor, just as you can do with every other scenery object. Initially, they may jump to the designated position the moment you touch them. You can also hide all tiles with the layer flyout as they reside in one of the TransDEM layers. But basically, the intention of the UTM tiles is to serve as a route building aid. So you may actually want to see them. The mesh importer for 3D tiles still doesn't work with TransDEM?

Thanks for the info. I tried to lower the tile but it said I can not alter height. As the topography on my route is quite clear for waht I want I decided to delete the odd floating tiles.
