One meter NED DEMs are available for selected locations from the The National Map at usgs.gov. They cover areas of 10000 x 10000 meters and are compressed files that are 250 - 300 Mb. When fully-extracted they can be nearly 800 Mb, of course. Current coverage includes nearly all of the states of Arkansas,Tennessee and Vermont as well as western Texas. Data is available for south central Missouri as well as a small area in the vicinity of St. Louis. |
