I'm wondering if there's a way to take elevation data, and scale it vertically. By that I mean multiplying the elevations by something like 1.5, making elevation differences 50% greater then in real life. I was told you could do that, but I don't see anything in the manual saying how.
Thanks.

EDIT: Elevations within the range of of these in the area covered; not elevation above sea level, which would lead to widely different results.

The Raise/Lower DEM function can scale, get it from the tools menu (or the toolbar). See the TransDEM main manual for details, page 96 in the current edition.
