Re: National Library of Scotland
That's very interesting Roland. As it happens, another Trainz user sent me the following link https://remotesensingdata.gov.scot/data#/map which would appear to provide LIDAR data in dtm format. Am I correct in thinking that would work in TransDEM?
Thanks,
Innis

Re: National Library of Scotland
Hi,
I haven't used TransDEM for a few of years (I have 2.6.3.0) but having lost a route I created due to a corrupt file, I was considering creating a new DEM. I notice that 50cm LIDAR data is available for the area I'm interested in via the National Library of Scotland page, hence me posting on ...

Irish DEM data
Hello,
I've searched both here and on the N3V forum for information relating to Irish DEM data. I did used to have this but unfortunately cannot locate it now. I can access map data no problem and can create the map tiles using the route editor tool, but I can't find the elevation data to combine ...

Re: Folder Contents are Too Large
I didn't apply a filter but TransDEM actually did this on one occasion without my bidding and it exported. Unfortunately, the map edges were too close to the end of the route. I'll try adding a filter and see what happens.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your help.

Folder Contents are Too Large
I've successfully created a DEM and map tiles but when I try to import the folder into TANE, I get the message that the folder contents are too large. The DEM itself is 11 squares in size and about 15 map tiles to zoom level 14. I've created far larger routes without this issue so I'm not sure what ...

Re: 2m DEM for England: Environment Agency LIDAR
Having just discovered the joy of 2m LIDAR data, I started to experiment with an area a few miles long. Is there any way to open the individual files and do the conversion to DEM automatically or does it all need to be done one at a time? Doing it one at a time, it has taken me 2 hours to do just 3 ...

Re: 3D UTM tiles not placing on map
Oddly enough, there are two routes with the same name though I hadn't opened it for editing prior to importin the UTM tiles. I've deleted everything and will attempt the import again.
***EDIT***
Success. Thanks Roland.
