Re: Web Map Tile Server (Map Not Maximised)

Mr. Ziegler,

I really appreciate the time you are spending to help me to resolve this issue. I am no where near as technical as you are. Here is a screen shot of the image preview when I did the copy from the settings page. The image is much larger (close to what i would hope for within the frame ...

Re: Web Map Tile Server (Map Not Maximised)

Here is a screenshot of the settings. And yes it is the same minimized size for the other servers (tired bing/ and open street map).

Web Map Tile Server (Map Not Maximised)

Here is a screenshot of my issue (link attached). In the Web Map Tile Server tool the Map image itself is "minimized" and is not occupying the entire area of the frame. Is there a way to change the area so that it is larger?

Tia for any suggestions or help.

Re: Map Tile Server settings

It is the issue with the Covenant Eyes program which is a hardcore Proxy controller. Everything must go in and out through it.

No worries though. The solution worked for me and I have been mapping away. :D

Re: Map Tile Server settings

Issue resolved :D

I feel stupid but let me post the resolution that worked for me

When I did the Map Tile Servers/Settings/Import/Map Tile Provider Settings Dec 15.xml to import the settings, the process natively populated the Map Tile Servers/Settings/Proxy/Proxy Address (text box) to ...

Re: Map Tile Server settings

I must admit when I am wrong and want to save you form any additional work. I have uninstalled the Covenant Eyes program. Unfortunately the issue continues, even with that program removed and ports 80 and 443 unrestricted.

TransDem64.exe is still not able to connect to the internet.

I am at a loss ...

Re: Map Tile Server settings

I have been in contact with Covenant Eyes tech support. They advised that their software takes exclusive custody of port 80 and 443 and that it blocks any other program from accessing either of those ports.

They suggested that most software has alternate ports that can be utilized when one port or ...

Re: Map Tile Server settings

The only firewalls I have are Norton 360 and Windows 10 native firewall (which is turned off by Norton). I have each of those set to allow TransDem64.exe full access.

Here are screen shots of each of those:

Re: Map Tile Server settings

I ran TcpView as you suggested and TransDem does not show up on the list at all

I also noted that none of the ip addresses or ports are "80".

I feel like I am so close to getting this great program to work fully but this seems to be my last sticking point.

Any other suggestions would be ...
