Re: Making a new map...it's been a while! I have a few quest

Now not to be difficult here and using your own "concept in copyright law" "Threshold of originality" One could argue that the Transdem program is more public domain then anything else. The DEM maps are not yours, the Topographic maps are not yours, neither is the Trainz programing. Your program is ...

Re: Making a new map...it's been a while! I have a few quest

I just wanted to pop back in to let you know that the exports went well and everything looks good with the maps I made.
The lines between the maps do stay with the map graphics. Here is the same corner as shown above in Trainz.

Thanks
Here is a look at the raster map alone.

While the different maps are easy to spot, there are obvious cracks between some of the maps.
I zoomed in on those cracks and the cracks do seem to disappear and everything does seem to ...

Making a new map...it's been a while! I have a few questions

I found a need to make a new map for a project I'm working on in Tane. Since I only need one map, I'm sticking with Transdem 2.5. I'm slowly refreshing my memory on how to get all the pieces together to get a map exported into Trainz. This is what I have so far.

Re: Old Transdem Map, New problem

Ok cancel that. I just looked and both maps do have all those files! Ok...I'll shut up now. Thanks for your help.

Re: Old Transdem Map, New problem

Ok, thanks. I can't help but wonder why this did not effect my other map? I believe both maps were made at roughly the same time.

Re: Old Transdem Map, New problem

I want to make sure I understand this correctly. That while this map works properly in Trainz, the only way to remove the massive file count is to make a new map? Also, if I make a new map, I'm able to use Transdem 2.5 for Tane or TRS2019?

Old Transdem Map, New problem

It's been a long time since I looked at the Transdem map making process. Way back when I was using TS2012, I bought Transdem 2.5. I successfully made two maps...or at least I thought they were successful. One I've been working on for many years with no problems. The second map I drug out of storage ...

Re: Topographic Questions

I did figure out my last question. I created the 3D UTM tiles for the route with a blank terrain. While the graphics were much better, Transdem created about 1400 kuids for this 90 mile route. I know I can cut that back a bit with the options on the export menu. For right now I'll look into the ...
