On a new machine, use the TransDEM install setup exe. Don't copy anything over from some previous installation elsewhere and don't use a shared drive. Always install locally, and always from the setup package. There are several more files outside the program directory in different other directories that TransDEM relies on.

Those worked for me in the past. Just downloaded one again and and could open it in TransDEM. So, which particular layer/product and which square did you try?

What data source was that?

It looks like an issue with the 3D corpus, the "mesh", and I have a vague idea what the reason might be. It had been reported before, by another user, in the German section of the forum: https://forum.transdem.de/viewtopic.php?p=3203#p3203. From that older thread it appeared something went wrong ...
