I really don't know how to help here. Have you considered replacing your C: drive? A clean and reliable system environment is a precondition for any application software.

A fully working C drive is essential. The operating system files reside there. The C++ runtime libraries reside there, even when updated from a separate package. The Windows Registry resides there. On a new machine, use the TransDEM install setup exe. Don't copy anything over from some previous installation elsewhere and don't use a shared drive. Just install to the default program folder as suggested. Also install the MS C++ runtime libs that come with the TransDEM installer. Its installer ...

Always install locally, and always from the setup package. There are several more files outside the program directory in different other directories that TransDEM relies on.
