Re: Add A New Map Tile Server

Yes, that's possible, as long as the service adheres to the de-facto standard, in particular tile size, addressing scheme and map projection. If it's hosted by ESRI you can try with the preconfigured ESRI services as template. Some service hosters provide the map tile service details on their ...

Re: Transcontinental routes

The primary limitation is available memory. On my current 64GB and 8/16 core machine, I successfully created a 20GB DEM last summer, 1m resolution, ca 70x50km, mainly for fun and test purposes. It had to be combined from Belgian, Dutch and German sources, 0.5m and 1m, many chunks, three different ...

Unfortunately, the latest forum backups from the old server turned out to be corrupt. So I had to restart from a somewhat ...

Re: UTM Tile Snapgrid setting

It is 40m for a good reason. TransDEM has a static mapping between its native UTM grid and the Trainz baseboard grid. TransDEM generated UTM tiles adhere to the UTM grid. (Their file names are UTM coordinates.) Since the UTM grid is 1000m and the Trainz baseboard raster is 720m, their greatest ...

Re: Lesefehler beim öffnen von gespeicherten geof. Bitmaps

Re: How to backup named masks data ?

All settings are stored in binary form in the Windows Registry. You can only backup the entire registry key, not individual settings like named masks.
This is the path:

Code: Select all

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Rolandsoft\TransDEM\TranzDEMSettings
