When using Google Earth Pro I get the message "one or more raster maps open have a scale of larger than 1 pixel per 2.5m such maps give poor results when used for ground texture.
If applicable these maps should additionally be exported as UTM overlay objects."

Thanks for the info. I tried to lower the tile but it said I can not alter height. As the topography on my route is quite clear for waht I want I decided to delete the odd floating tiles.

Yes it could be as it is flat. I am hoping I can get rid of it in Trainz12 as I have laid out some of the routes.

Have created route in TransDEM. and imported to Trainz12.
I have just noticed I have a floating map.Does anybody know how to get rid of it in Trainz.

I have checked the mesh importer.exe in the command prompt and it is the same as yours.
I am wondering if something is corrupt in my TransDEM files.
I have a new laptop on order so I will see what happens when I install it on that.

It stalls when the folder has been set and the folder browser box is being closed.

After not using TransDEM for a while I did a recap with the Meungsten tutorial. I tried to use the 3D tiles but as soon as I point to the mesh importer folder TransDem stops responding and I have to close it down.

Just found out I needed shading option.
Ah well, we live and learn.

I have followed the example and used SD92 but my DEMs are no way as detailed as yours, I cannot make out railway line and bridge gaps. etc. Am I missing something. I have the latest version.
