I did not touch any of the Trainz export functions for 2.6.6.1 and no one else has reported an export problem so far. I need more information of what geo data you have loaded for this export.

I posted here because not possible to reply your annoucement about new update to TransDEM 2.6.6.1

After I update, TransDEM now able to open Indonesian DEMNAS. It was success to open original file I downloaded.

BUT, when I want to EXPORT DEM and texture to TRAINZ, there's error looks ...

I am not topo expert, just for fun to try more accurate topo for Trainz.
I compare between TransDEM and the reality is. I am not wish to 100% accurate.

There is a real station altitude near the ferry port called STATION MERAK. It's have +3.00m height ...

Oh sorry again... I forgot again ....

The step I did was :
- Download original TIF
- Raster calculation to adjust to +3.75m to set that sea level is 0.
- Translate to WGS84 EPSG : 4326

Then finally
- Convert TIF to DEM in TransDEM ...

Sorry for my incomplete information...

After I realized that there was a memory problem, I canceled to load merged TIF in TRANSDEM and back to "normal" procedure : one-by-one TIF file again to convert TIF to DEM.

You say you cannot add a second DEM to the first one. How big is each of them now ...

My country, Indonesia had GEOTIFF 0.27sec arc with vertical datum EGM2008 and in few months will upgraded to EGM2020.
Few weeks ago, I had download them for about 240 files TIF.

But because TRANSDEM didn't accept EGM2008. I start to convert it to WGS84 via ...
